I am a wife, a mother, and a public school teacher.  I live this amazing life and I am grateful for every minute of it…most of the time.  I didn’t plan to be a teacher.  My original plan was to change the world, but when reality set in, I realized that I can change the world one young person at a time.

Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”  Further along in my journey I came to realize that,  “it is not the world that I am changing, what I do is so the world will not change me.” ~ Garth Brooks.

I love the power of words.  I love language.  I love to connect with others through the exchange of words, ideas and a shared purpose.
